INFO Undergrad Upper-Level Major Elective Proposal Form

In order to complete the Information Science major students are required to complete 15 credits of Upper-Level Major Electives (300- or 400-level). InfoSci students may submit a non-INST course to be evaluated towards this requirement.

Please keep in mind:

These courses must be taken AFTER declaring the InfoSci major and after completion of all InfoSci benchmark courses.
Submitting a request is not a guarantee that the course will be approved for this requirement.
Approval by the InfoSci program is required prior to registering for the course.

Decisions can take up to 10 business days from submission. During peak registration time you can expect this process to take the full 10 business days. Some proposals may take longer to review if we need additional information or justification. For this reason we recommend you submit courses for review well before your registration appointment.
